Welcome and thank you for visiting.

I  have always been interested in toys but it wasn't until the birth of my son that I started looking at them again, and when I did I was amazed at some of the cool stuff that was out there. So, naturally, I started buying them, well, it would have been rude not to, and over time we started amassing quite a collection. I think it is now fair to say that I am a toy collector, although I am not one of these people that needs the boxes and/or instructions. These are toys first, and a collection second, and all the toys on this website (regardless of whether I bought them mint in box) are regularly played with and enjoyed by my son and I. I don't like the thought of toys like this just sitting on someone's shelf, still sealed - it just seems such a waste - toys are meant to be played with.

To aid me in my collecting, I looked on the internet for information on the toys I was interested in but didn't really find what I was looking for. Toy manufacturers websites are great for learning about the current range of toys, but they seem to almost be in denial about products no longer in production. Also, some 'serious collector' websites were a bit too detailed and I found it rather difficult to find what I was looking for. So, I decided to create a simple website sharing all the information I had gathered, so that other people wouldn't have to go to the lengths that I did to learn what accessories were available for various toy ranges, and to make it easy to find out what pieces came with each set (handy if you are buying stuff second-hand). Please feel free to let me know what you think of it, and, if you have any information or knowledge about the toys on this website, or ones you feel should be included - feel free to get in touch (email address is at the bottom of the page). The sections of the website can be seen below and every page on this site has a navigation bar like the one at the top of this page to make it easy to navigate between these sections. Enjoy....

eBay

Selling toys on eBay is how I fund my collection. Find out more about eBay and see what I am currently selling.

Fisher Price Great Adventures

An excellent range of toys featuring everything from castles and cowboys to pirates and pyramids. Discontinued now but still excellent toys.

Fisher Price Geo Trax

A road and rail system featuring all sorts of accessories and including both push along and remote control vehicles.

Early Learning Centre Happy Land

The Early Learning Centres' answer to Fisher Prices' Little People but with more emphasis on actual road and rail track pieces, also known as Happy Street and Happy Tracks.

Fisher Price Imaginext

The replacement for Great Adventures but with an added construction twist where, just like Lego, the sets come in pieces so an infinite number of sets can be built. Two ranges were made, medieval and modern, this site is just for the medieval one as that is my favourite.

Fisher Price Little People

I'm sure these toys need no introduction, these toys have been made for years and the the range is massive. This site is just about all the sets that were made since the style of the people changed to the current 'more realistic style'.

Fisher Price Rescue Heroes

A nice range of action figures where, instead of using guns and other weapons, the characters are people fire-fighters, police and mountain rescuers. As Fisher Price themselves put, they are cool guys who are also good guys.

Tomy Train

A really nice battery operated train set range featuring loads of accessories and vehicles. The range was later expanded to include road track and vehicles and renamed Tomica World.

The Sausageoflife Group

Due to the response I got from this website I decided to create a group so that people could share knowledge and swap toys, not only with me, but with each other too. The website is where I have gathered all the information I could find, but this group offers an easy way for anyone else to add anything.

Other sites that I have found that may be of interest, you can also view the Webrings that this site is a member of.
